Primary Afternoon
Afternoon primary section nurtures students for their future. It develops in each child 21st century competencies so he is equipped with skills to navigate of fast – changing world and grows up to become:
- A confident person
- A self directed learner
- An active contributor
- A concerned citizen
The role of the primary section is to ensure broad-based development of pupils. This means ensuring that all pupils are able to develop their cognitive, social, emotional, cultural and physical skills to the best of their abilities, preparing them for their further schools career.
Curriculum Focus:
Primary curriculum focuses on providing a broad learning experience and encourages a rich variety of approaches to teaching and learning that cater for the different needs of individual children. The Curriculum is designed to stimulate students’ curiosity and develop their interest in learning and to enable the student to learn more about themselves and the world around them through activities.

Academic Calendar
Bake Sale:
It is a great news to announce that in a meeting chaired by the principal Dr. Margaret Madden, a new house named “Henderson” has been introduced from this academic year 2018-2019. Now St. Patrick’s High School (Afternoon Matric) have 4 houses (Cordeiro, Raymond, Lobo and Henderson)
Bake sales are usually held quarterly in a year.
August 2018
Event: Excursion
An excursion is expected for the students of grade 10th, though the venue and date is yet to be decided.
November 2018
Event: Sports Week
“This month has a great importance in the academic calendar as it marks one important event i.e Sports week (Tentatively to begin from 19th November, 2018) along with “Mid-Term Examinations (which shall begin from 12th November, 2018)*”
*Mid Term Examinations will be based according to the prescribed pattern by the Board of Secondary Education, Karachi.
December 2018
Event: Christmas Evening and Class party
This month is considered to be a bit relaxed month for the students, comparing to others but has its own importance as it is filled with the joy for the celebration of Christmas which includes class Christmas party and a mesmerizing carol evening which is followed by winter break.
February 2019
Event: Christmas Evening and Class party
This month is considered to be important as “PRELIMINARY EXAMINATIONS” will be conducted, which will help students in being fully prepared to appear in the Board Exam Examinations 2019.
