Primary Morning

The Morning Primary Section of the school has seen many major changes over the recent years. A noticeable contrast to the past would be the considerable influx of students as well as staff. The new generations of well trained staff have successfully carried on the torch, emulating the devotion and love for the job of those teachers that made the school renowned. The teachers are kept abrest of the latest pedagogical methods through regular workshops.

Over the years the Primary Section have maintained an effectual curriculum ensuring that the youngsters are given a strong foundation and every support essential to their overall development.

Parent Teacher Meetings are held at regular intervals as it gives the parent a good opportunity to familiarize themselves with school policy and their child’s teachers whom they can work collaboratively with for the healthy and holistic progress of their children.

Primary curriculum focuses on providing a broad learning experience and encourages a rich variety of approaches to teaching and learning that cater for the different needs of individual children. The Curriculum is designed to stimulate students’ curiosity and develop their interest in learning and to enable the student to learn more about themselves and the world around them through activities.

The role of the primary section is to ensure broad-based development of pupils. This means ensuring that all pupils are able to develop their cognitive, social, emotional, cultural and physical skills to the best of their abilities, preparing them for their further schools career.
