The Afternoon Lower Secondary endeavours to preserve the School’s legacy in keeping with the mission of the School. We encourage academic achievement but more importantly; the student’s ethical and spiritual well-being.
The middle school stage of the Afternoon Shift has its plethora of adolescent related challenges; and our teachers are a dedicated group who give of their best for the children. They are continuously being trained and kept updated with new methodologies, and are well equipped to cope with any of the students’ needs.
Our objective for the students is that they should leave school with knowledge, confidence and mainly, the noble character of a Patrician which will stand them in good stead wherever their paths may lead them.
I am very thankful to our Principal Sr. Margaret Madden for appointing me to lead the Section to accomplish her vision for the Whole School Development Program. We aim for ongoing assessment which fosters lifelong and cooperative learning which ensures that every individual reaches their full potential.
We believe that our classrooms are intellectually comprehensive due to the implementation of the New Curriculum and collaborative classroom learning. We strive for blending happiness and achievement in all aspects of school life, (academic, athletic and artistic).
We help students cultivate intellectual curiosity and embrace a love of learning as they aspire to attain excellence; to enjoy wit and gain wisdom as they find their voices in the world. The faculty and staff foster a supporting and welcoming environment where both the individual and the community are valued and this combination creates a section alive with opportunity and promise.
We share the vision that everyone deserves the taste of success and the opportunity to acquire it.
